Context
The challenge
Managing medical device orders for in- and outpatients is challenging. Existing systems are fragmented, leading to inefficiencies, delayed deliveries, and errors. Many orders reaching providers are incomplete, requiring manual data entry. Desktop-centric ordering keeps clinicians at desks, and delayed order validation impacts delivery of care.
How we worked
Our approach
We built OrderEase360 as a mobile-first ordering platform for post-acute products and services (e.g. breast pumps, compression socks). The app is optimized for simple order entry on the move or at the bedside, with intelligent validation and near real-time processing.
Delivery
The solution
Advanced algorithms and intelligent data validation eliminate the vast majority of incomplete orders. Clinicians place orders from mobile devices with minimal manual intervention. Near real-time order validation reduces waiting time. Multi-tenant architecture supports multiple facilities with dedicated spaces and data privacy.
